تاریخ اسلام کے مطالعہ سے عیاں ہے کہ سلطنت اسلامیہ کی وسعت جوں جوں بڑھتی گٸی مساٸل بھی بڑھتے گئے۔ جدید دنیامیں اسلام اور مسلمانوں کے سٹیٹس پر لکھنے والے لوگ اپنے اپنے مقاصد کی تکمیل کے لیے نئی تحقیقات پیش کررہے ہیں۔کوئی یورپ کو برابھلا کہتا ہے تو کوئی ان کے کٹھ پتلی مسلم حکمرانوں کوکوستا ہے۔ دوسری طرف سے ردعمل آتا ہے تو مسلم تاریخ کے جھگڑوں کوہوادے کر باہم دست وگریباں کرادیاجاتا ہے۔ اس سے کوئی ان جھگڑوں سے تنگ آکر چھپ کر کونے میں بیٹھ جاتا ہے توکوئی ظلم وجبر کی چکی میں پستا چلاجاتا ہے۔ دوردور تک ان مسائل سے نکلنے کی ممکنہ صورت نظر نہیں آتی۔ قرآن کریم پہ ایمان کا تقاضا یہ ہے کہ اللہ کی رحمت سے مایوس نہ ہواجائے۔ اور مسائلسے نکلنے کی راہ تلاش کی جائے۔ میرے چند تحقیق طلب سوالات حسب ذیل ہیں جنہیں”عالمی اسلامی ریاست(تاریخ،جغرافیہ اور مستقبل) ”میں زیربحث لانے کی کوشش کررہاہوں۔
